Clear Lake Regional Medical Center
Clear Lake Regional Medical Center has been providing high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare to the Bay Area Houston region. A $92 million patient tower that includes 155,000 sq. ft. of operating rooms, intensive care, and observation units was recently opened. The campus consists of the Surgery Center, Main Hospital Towers, The Breast Diagnostic Center, and The Heart & Vascular Hospital.
ESBEE Signs designed and built a comprehensive campus-wide sign standards program for the new Patient Tower. The signage is also being installed into the existing areas of the hospital as departments are renovated and upgraded.
Development of the three icons and color-coding of the Main Tower, Central Tower, and Heart Hospital was incorporated into the wayfinding system to orient patients and visitors moving from building to building. Floor Directories provide overall information to visitors as to which building and elevator to use to reach their destination. Due to the diversity of the patient population, universal pictograms were used wherever possible to aid in navigation.
